Different Stakeholder Pension Plans

If you are an employer  of more than five people then you will be aware that you have a legal obligation to provide your employees with easy access to a stakeholder pension scheme. This may seem like a simple task but you should keep in mind that there are currently forty six different stakeholder pension scheme providers in the United Kingdom, and you are going to have to choose the one that you feel is right for your employers. So, with that point being considered, it is important to compare all of the different providers. Let’s take a look at some of the forty six different stakeholder pension providers.

One stakeholder pension scheme that you could consider taking a look at is the Abbey Stakeholder Pension Scheme. They are registered in Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and the membership to register with them is not restricted. Any employer is eligible to designate this particular scheme. The minimum contribution for this particular scheme is £20. Their telephone number to contact them about their stakeholder pension scheme is 0845 2701075.

Yet another stakeholder pension scheme provider that you could consider contacting is the BlackRock PPP Stakeholder Plan. The membership for this particular plan is restricted to members of the BlackRock Pensions Personal Pensions plan. The minimum contribution is £20. If an employer wishes to designate this scheme then they have to be members of the BlackRock Pensions Personal Pensions Plan. If you would like to find out more then you can go to their website or you can call them on 0845 6017721.

HSBC also offer a similar service, it is called the HSBC Life (UK) Limited Stakeholder Pension Scheme. Again, they are registered in the Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The membership to this particular scheme is not restricted. The minimum contribution, again, is £20. If you would like to contact HSBC about their stakeholder pension scheme then you can go to their website or contact them on 0845 7 456 127.

The three providers mentioned above are just three out of forty six providers of stakeholder pension schemes. All of them are worth taking a look at, as one could be better suited than another. The minimum contribution for the majority of these providers is £20, and very rarely more. You should keep in mind that some stakeholder pension scheme providers will come with restrictions, so these may not be suitable for certain people.

If you would like to find out more information about any of the personal pension scheme providers, or any of the other forty six then you can take a look online, or contact them directly, they will be more than happy to answer any queries that you may have.
